Back to the Ol' Grindstone

I did accomplish a couple things during my day off:

This is a 2nd pillowcase for GB's pillow he uses when he sleeps with us.  Not only that, the afghan in the background has been a project on the to-do list for a while.  I finished the afghan a few years ago and then found 3 more skeins of LB Homespun.  When DMIL was over here on Sunday I grabbed up the skeins and added to the length of the 'ghan. 

I also got a lot of housekeeping accomplished during the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off days.  You gotta love snow days!  I cleaned out many cupboards and washed them all down and then Old Englished (a new verb) them.  I try to do this once a year.  What a great feeling to have this off the list.

Ok, that is the report for the day.  I have to get GB to school by nine and then my butt into work by 10.  Oh yeah, finished reading Hawaii and started another book.  Check.
